Too Tired To Think Of A Title
First off, I want to thank everyone who posted and sent emails after my last post. I appreciate everyone taking the time to check on me. As for that situation, things have changed...a bit. I've since talked to this person and found out that the original reason I thought they were mad was incorrect. They finally told me what it was all about. Though we now are able to correspond through email and phonecalls, the friendship has definitely changed. I'm hoping eventually we can get that closeness we had back, but for now I just have to accept it on its current terms.
In other news, I finally started putting my short story collection together. I've been revamping old stories and fixing up newer ones. Should end up anywhere between 40,000 and 50,000 words with 8 to 10 stories. My hope is to have it published some time next year. As soon as I get the go ahead from a publisher, I'll let you know when to expect it.
One problem I'm having, though, is that I'm not sure what to call it. It would be one thing if all the stories had a similar theme, but they don't. I want to avoid a cheesy title, like "Bonechilling Tales" or the like. Bentley Little already used "The Collection." So I have no idea what to do. Sigh. Anyone who has read some of my work is welcome to throw in some ideas. Hell, even if you've never read a thing by me, go ahead and throw in some ideas. I need all the help I can get.
Anyhoo, Christmas season is in full swing. I haven't done half of the stuff I'm supposed to to get ready and I have minimal funds. Ah yes, another wonderful Christmas.
Well, I'm actually working at the moment and the time has come for me to be of some help.
Till next time...
