Easy Like Sunday Morning
Ok, so this Sunday morning hasn't been very easy, but it's the first title that came to mind.
This weekend was Fran's weekend with the kids. I sat home on Friday, did some reading, watched some bad TV. Saturday I had the pleasure of accompanying Matt Schwartz of www.shocklines.com to F. Paul Wilson's house. Let me tell you, if you ever see Paul at a convention or a signing, go talk to him, because he is one of the nicest most genuine people in this industry. I always have a good time when we go down there.
Later I went into the city with Matt to see Saw 2. Yes, I know it's been out forever, but I NEVER get to see movies these days, so I just got to it. I must say, it was better than the first one, and that rarely happens. I highly recommend catching it before it leaves the theaters. Somehow I doubt it would be the same on DVD in your living room.
And then I got a call at about 1:45 this morning. It was a call that infuriated me and broke my heart at the same time. It was a call that got my blood pumping and made me want to sprint from the safety of my cozy sheets and kick some serious ass. It was a call that threatened to shatter what little stability I have left in my home life. I only wish I could go into more detail than that...but there is a war going on now and I can't give away my strategies. But fear not...I will win this one.
