Slowly But Surely Recovering

So this past Saturday was my big birthday bash. I had a great time. I really needed a night to get drunk and just be with my friends. After a crappy week it felt good to let loose. And let loose I did!

But I was smart about it, luckily I didn't get sick and was able to function pretty well. :) Though my carpet has a few more stains and it'll take a week to get the beer smell out of my house, it was well worth it. Friends from all over made it out and I was really pleased with the turnout. Matt and Sheri came the farthest (Virginia and Maryland, respectively) and a few of the New York crew made it out as well (thanks to Mark, Dallas, Gordon, and Monica!). And of course the Jerseyers were there as well.

I had a camera, but I didn't take any pictures. I was way too drunk to be trusted with photos. So my friend Laura handled that. I'll be getting them developed this week. So if there are any good blackmail pictures, I'll let you know. :)

So, my body is sore, I still haven't gotten a good nights sleep, and my voice is only now starting to come back. I guess that means it was a successful party! I didn't dance naked with a lamp shade on my head or anything like that though...maybe next time. Don't have all that much more to say, so I guess I'll take off for now.

I do have a doctor's appointment tomorrow though, my shrink wants me back on meds. I'll be sure to let you know how that goes. Until then..........
