Road Trippin
Tomorrow I leave for a 9 hour drive down to North Carolina. Why, you ask? My good friends Matt and Deena are getting married! They are two of the very few people I'd drive 9 hours for. But lucky for me, Fran will be doing the driving. :) Markus will be joining us for the journey, so I know it'll be a fun ride. Just one problem, we'll have to go through Virginia.
Those who have been reading the blog for awhile already know about my luck with Virginia. I told Fran that I would try to sleep through it, maybe that will lift the curse. But who knows. Markus has already witnessed Meghan mixing with good ole VA. Frightening. So...bets are open. Go ahead, try to guess what frustrating, horrible, or annoying thing is going to happen. Maybe I'll be better prepared.
9 hours is a long ride for a pregnant woman. I'm sure we'll make a dozen stops for pee breaks. :) But I have been feeling better, so I think the trip (minus the trek through VA) should go pretty smoothly. I'm excited! I love weddings, and road trips...and Matt and Deena! heh I'm feeling happier than I have in awhile. I'm going to cherish this feeling as long as it lasts.
Oh, and just for a heads up...still no word on the results of Fran's blood test. His doctor is on vacation till the 11th...nice huh? I'm sure the results are sitting on his desk right now, yet I have to wait. Sigh.
Well, I better hit the sack. I have to get up, pack, and clean tomorrow. Markus can't see the sty the way it is. heh So I'm going to need my beauty sleep. I'll be sure to report back on the weekend when I get back!
Till next time...
