Meghan's Wish List
I've been doing a lot of wish lists lately. My b-day is in March, so to make things easier on my family, I always keep an amazon.com wish list. My baby shower is also fast approaching, so I filled out a babies R us wishlist. But what I REALLY want I can't get off of a website or from any store. So, I'm going to make a blog wishlist.
1. One afternoon where helping my daughter with her homework doesn't take 3 hours of arguing and frustration.
2. One afternoon where I pick up my daughter from school and her teacher doesn't tell me she either a) forgot her homework b) forgot a book c) wasn't paying attention in class or d) isn't working up to her potential.
3. One day without collection phonecalls.
4. One day to do ANYTHING I want. None of the 4 jobs to tend to...no doctor appts...no family engagements...no housecleaning. You know, a day to just loaf and not feel guilty about it.
5. One night of good sleep. This means not getting up every hour to pee or waking up with back pain and having to figure out another position to fall asleep in.
6. One morning where my husband gets himself up at 5 am for work, instead of relying on me to hear the alarm and sit there prodding him for 20 minutes to get out of bed.
7. One day without worrying about money troubles. This is the issue that plagues me the most.
8. One day where my father doesn't make me feel guilty or bad about myself. The reasons always vary...whether it be I'm not keeping my house clean enough or he thinks I've got too many mashed potatos on my plate.
9. One day of complete understanding from my husband. Understanding that this pregnancy is not easy on me and that I will return to the way I used to be once it's all over with.
10. One morning where getting out of bed doesn't take all my will and every ounce of strength I have.
Didn't mean this to sound like a bitchfest, just thought putting my wishes down might help at least one come true. Any one of these would really make my day.
