The Results Are In

I gotta keep this one short because I'm on my way out the door. Just wanted to let everyone know that I finally got the results of Fran's blood test. He tested negative for CF carrier. This means the baby has a 50% chance of being a carrier of cystic fibrosis, but is safe from being born with the disease. Relief is not a strong enough word for what I'm feeling. A huge knot has disappeared from my stomach.

My next appointment is on the 16th and then I go for my ultrasound in mid November. Things are moving along. I'm finally over the worst of the morning sickness. Occassionally I get a stomach ache, but nothing I can't handle. I'm tired all the time, but that can be expected at this point. Otherwise, I'm doing well...physically. Mentally is another story, but I don't have the time to go into it at the moment. Just know that I'm not ready to jump off any tall buildings, so no worries.
