Yawn...Back and Exhausted
I haven't done so much in one weekend in a looooooooong time...and it's taking it's toll. But I had a great time! It was well worth it!
Halloween was a lot of fun. Kimi had a great time and we actually got a lot of trick-or-treaters this year. Then the drive to PA on Saturday went smoothly. Even though my cat decided to try to behead me just before we left.
The Horrorfind party was fun. It was great to hang out with Brian and Cassie and Coop and Deb. There was a lot going on, haunted barn; haunted hayride; a party tent with non-stop horror movies, booze, and snacks; and more. It was definitely a cool experience. Of course I get tired much more quickly these days, so we didn't stay to close the party down. :) A special thanks to Coop and Deb for putting us up for the night! I promised coop I would spread the word of the Foamy cult...so everyone go to www.illwillpress.com as soon as you're done reading this. :)
The ride back on Sunday went well, except that we left a little later than planned, so we went straight to the GSHW reading/signing at the Wayne Borders. The signing went very well, despite the confusion in the beginning. I've learned that any signing at a bookstore comes with issues...that's just the way it works. But a lot of people came out for it (a special shout out to Maria and Mazz for coming out!) and we had plenty of readers. I read "Curiosity Doesn't Always Kill The Cat" since I have giant claw marks going across my neck. I figured it would make a good prop. We sold over 50 books, plus we signed another 30 for Shocklines. A very successful day.
By the time I got home Sunday night the weekend had caught up with me. So I pretty much just vegged out. Of course as I'm trying to relax, the baby decides to take up tango lessons. I've just very recently started feeling Mr. Peanut move around, but last night was the most I've felt so far. It was really quite funny. :)
Well, that's about all I have to fill you in on. Till next time...
